What's in a name?

Come up with a name for our group!

"North West Tassie Mountain Bikers" kinda describes us but it is a bit boring and that is something we don't want to be!

The beginning

Inspired by interest shown in local mountain biking through a petition in local bike shops, a well attended public meeting and the state government's release for public comment of the Tasmanian Draft Mountain Bike Plan - a committee of 8 was formed in October 2009 to investigate the idea of starting a mountain bike club in the north west region of Tasmania and to provide advocacy for more mountain bike trails in the area.
